Selected databases for religious studies

Proquest religion 1986- . Indexes approximately 80 journals in the field of religious affairs and religious thought.
ATLA religion database is available from the Matheson Library information desk. It indexes citations in scholarly fields in religion in 34 languages with citations from over 1,400 journals as well as essay citations from multi-author works and over 350,000 book review citations. It provides one-stop access to three crucial ATLA indexes: Index to book reviews in religion; Religion index one; and, Religion index two.
Australia's religious communities : a multimedia exploration provides an overview of religion in Australia including census and survey data, a religious timeline, historical and introductory information about the role of religion. For each religion in Australia there is historical and current information about beliefs, worship and practices, statistical data, relevant video clips, geographic distribution, biographies for further reading and more.
