- BHI : British humanities index the
feature of this database is its extensive indexing of the following
newspapers: the Guardian, the Times, the Independent, the Observer
and the following serials: The Economist and New Statesman. References
are available from 1985.
- Contemporary women's issues (via
FirstSearch) includes the full text of books, journals, newsletters,
and research reports from non-profit groups, governments and international
agencies. It includes resources from 1992 and is updated fortnightly.
- GEOBASE indexes references
from approximately 2,000 journals, books, conference proceedings, reports
and theses. Its main relevance for politics students is that is indexes
the International Development Abstracts which is a great resource for
researchers working in development studies.
- SourceOECD comprises books,
journals and statistical publications issued by OECD. It includes international
development and related subjects. Users can build their own tables
and export them to Excel.
