Virtual Hospital a digital health sciences library which has been inactive since April 2005, but retains most of its content online

HealthInsite site developed and maintained by the Australian Government. It aims to provide a single point of access to quality information from leading health information providers including health organisations, government departments and educational and research organisations.

Health and Aging from the Commonwealth department of Health and Aged care. Provides a list of the Department's publications which may be viewed electronically.

Metropolitan Health and Aged Care Services Division site comes from the Department of Human Services in Victoria. It provides access to a variety of sites and information related to hospitals and emergency care.

Intute is a gateway to evaluated, quality internet resources aimed at students, researchers, academics and practitioners. It offers a free online tutorial teaching internet skills including searching and evaluation.

Australian Nursing & Midwifery Council site looks at nursing in Australia, the nurses Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, and Competency Standards.

Association of Radical Midwives site is based in the UK and provides a forum for sharing ideas, information and skills among colleagues and clients.
