Native title

Scope: Native title refers to a right or interest over land or waters that may be owned, according to traditional laws and customs, by Aboriginal peoples and Torres Strait Islanders (Butterworths Encyclopaedic Australian Legal Dictionary). The Law Library provides support for teaching and research in Native title.
