Mechatronics

Scope: 'the term mechatronic means that the product or production process involves a mechanical structure containing actuators (usually motors to make things move), a microprocessor to control the overall operation of the system, sensors to allow the microprocessor to monitor the state of the system and electronics to connect the other parts together', as defined by the Faculty of Engineering, Monash University. Mechatronics engineering courses are based on the Clayton campus. Library resources are mainly held in the Hargrave-Andrew Library.
