The Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) is a public interest, not-for-profit environmental law firm founded in 1989 to strengthen international and comparative environmental law and policy around the world. The site includes both primary and secondary sources and a section on general search strategies.

EcoNet
The EcoNet site offers general information about EcoNet, as well as links to environmental organisations and resources available on the Internet, and a search engine covering all five IGC networks (ie PeaceNet, EcoNet, ConflictNet, LaborNet, and WomensNet).

Emory Law Library, Electronic Reference Desk: Law by Subject: Environmental Law
Provides environmental law links and relevant legislation. Includes links to the Environmental Protection Agency EnviroFacts Database, Journal of Environmental Law, Organizations and related sites.

ENTRI Treaty Texts
This Web site provides access to the full text of more than 169 environmental agreements, made available via alphabetical and chronological, and topical listings, as well as via a search interface.

EnviroLink Library
Comprehensive site on environmental issues.

Environmental Law Alliance Worldwide (E-Law)
Provides full text access to selected laws, cases, publications and resources by environmental topic or region.

Globelaw International and Transnational Law and International Environmental Law
This site provides access to a wide range of documents and Web sites of relevance to environmental and international law, including multilateral conventions and UN documents.

Greenpeace International
This Web site of Greenpeace International provides details of current Greenpeace campaigns in a range of environmental areas, as well as information about the Greenpeace organisation. A search facility is also provided.

Natural Resources Weblinks
This site has been created and is maintained by the Natural Resources and Environmental Law Program at the University of Denver College of Law. The site provides access to links for topical information relevant to the study of natural resources/ environment. Topics include water, energy, environment, forestry, mining, oil and gas and indigenous peoples. Approximately 60 countries have specific research links for these topics, as well as tax and investment resources. The country pages also include links to legal databases. Other sections of the website provide researchers access to international treaties and organizations.

Environmental Treaties and Resource Indicators (ENTRI)
Maintained by CIESIN, which itself provides access to a range of useful environmental Internet sites and resources, and its Socioeconomic Data and Applications Center (SEDAC), this Environmental Treaties and Resource Indicators project database provides an online tool for browsing and searching of treaties and other international agreements related to global environmental change and sustainable development. The database presently contains the text of multilateral environmental treaties, treaty summaries and status reports, linkages to online resources maintained by treaty secretariats, and selected national-level time series of socioeconomic and environmental indicators.

UNEP: United Nations Environment Programme
This UN site provides information about UNEP, its organisational structure, activities, publications, etc., as well as UN environmental conventions in full text (along with other convention information), including the Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). A search facility is also available.
