1. Go to Ethos ethos.bl.uk/Home.do
2. Login with your username/login (You must register with EThOS to access full text, or, to request theses).
3. Click Basic Search / Advanced Search to search for a thesis.
*If the title is not listed, but you know it to be a British thesis, consult your contact librarian or EThOS FAQ for further assistance
4. Click View Thesis to check availability and access options.
*If the information indicates the titles is not included in EThOS and recommends contacting the university, then you may submit a request to purchase for the library's collection via your contact librarian.
5. Click Choose Pricing/Delivery for titles which are available via EThOS database.
5a. If there is a cost listed for the format you require eg.
Place a document delivery request and include this information in Notes field of the online request form eg.
Note: Postgraduates will be asked for their supervisor or subject librarian to email authorization to docdel@monash.edu and costs for a format other than download will be considered on a case by case basis.
5b. If there is no cost for the format you require and the document is either available immediately or requires to be digitised, click Add to Basket.
6. Click Search Results to return to titles list and continue adding titles to Shopping Basket.
7. When finished browsing, select titles in Shopping Basket and click Confirm
8. Agree to the copyright statement and click Create Order
9. A list of items 'ordered' is displayed.
10. Click Order history from the EThOS page to access requests, and to check progress of an order.
