Why was the Pharmacy Library refurbished and expanded?

Simple - to provide a better, more convenient service and facility for users. The new library is technologically enabled, more adaptable to changing study styles, easier to navigate, modern and consistent in design and layout, and more reflective of the University’s status.

Features of the refurbished library include:

• a facility that is almost double the size of the old Library
• an up-to-date, convenient and user-friendly place to discover resources
• more student computers and a dedicated training room
• improved layout, better separating noisy and quiet areas
• choice of working collaboratively or alone, utilising technology and traditional library resources together; and
• improved security, furniture and laptop facilities.
