My Databases, how to create your favourite sets

Select a list of your favourite databases, give the list a name and then search it in QuickSearch or MetaSearch. To create your own list:

  • use Find Database to locate your databases.
  • in the database list, click the 'Add to My Sets' icon Plus sign or Add favourites icon to add databases to your Clipboard. When added, the 'Added to My Sets' icon Favourite added icon will appear.
    Note: The 'Search in database' icon Magnifying glass or Search icon appears if the resource is searchable via MultiSearch.

  • go to My Space, select My Databases. The databases you have selected should appear in the Clipboard.

  • click the 'Create new set' icon Create new set icon to create a new set. Give it a name, eg 'Business' and Save.
  • go back to the databases in the Clipboard, click 'Move database' icon Move icon to move each database to your new set.
  • The new set should now appear in QuickSearch as well as in MetaSearch
