Notes: This collection is a microprint edition of the complete text of every existent, book, pamphlet and broadside printed in the United States in the years 1639 to 1800.  It includes more than 42,000 titles.

The collection is based on the Evans' bibliography.  Titles in this collection are arranged chronologically following the order of the entries in the Evans bibliography and using the numbers assigned to each item by Evans.  Evans numbers appear, in eye-legible form, on the microprint cards.
