Library rates well in MEQ07

The Monash Experience Questionnaire, the University’s major survey, asks students about all academic aspects of the University. Of nearly 50,000 students qualified to participate in the survey in 2007, 14,744 responded (29.7 % response rate).

Students were asked to rate several items that relate to the Library in the section headed Student support /resources. Students reported positively on all items in this section and 70.8% were satisfied with Student support /resources at Monash in general. As can be seen from the graph below, the Library’s results (items 1 and  2) are very positive and have been improving since 2003.

While the biennial Library User Survey provides more detailed responses, the MEQ survey provides a valuable snapshot.

Comparison of item results in the area of student support/resources 2003, 2005 and 2007.
