Peninsula student wins iPod Mini

First year Diploma of Health Sciences student, Adri Pretorius, was presented with an iPod Mini late last month after completing a questionnaire.

The prize of an iPod Mini was offered as an incentive to all students enrolling in the new Diploma of Health Sciences course at Peninsula to complete a questionnaire designed to help library and faculty staff create an information literacy program specifically for their course.

Sixty-two per cent of students in the course completed the questionnaire which has been used to develop a customised program that meets the students’ needs.

Ms Pretorius was presented with her prize on Wednesday 23 February by Acting Dean of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Leon Piterman.
