|
First year Diploma of Health Sciences student, Adri Pretorius,
was presented with an iPod Mini late last month after completing a
questionnaire. The prize of an iPod Mini was offered as an incentive to all
students enrolling in the new Diploma of Health Sciences course at
Peninsula to complete a questionnaire designed to help library and
faculty staff create an information literacy program specifically for
their course. Sixty-two per cent of students in the course completed the
questionnaire which has been used to develop a customised program that
meets the students’ needs. Ms Pretorius was presented with her prize on Wednesday 23 February by Acting Dean of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Leon Piterman. 11 March 2005 current news : 2008 : 2007 : 2006 : 2005 : 2004 : 2003 : 2002 : pre-2002 Need help?
