Title:
[Letters] [microform] / [Michael Field] [i.e. Katherine Bradley & Edith Cooper]
Notes: The two Irish women, Katherine Bradley and Edith Cooper, began as aunt and niece, and were actually two Irish lesbians who lived and wrote as poets and lovers for more than a quarter of a century under the pseudonym of Michael Field. Katharine Bradley (1846-1914) and her niece Edith Cooper (1862-1913) were the women who wrote as Michael Field. It was a surprisingly prolific partnership, producing 28 published plays and 8 collections of poetry. This publication contains letters exchanged between the two women. This is the copy of the manuscript held in the Bodleian Library.
