| Data entry |
Document title, <h1> tag in HTML document and title text in non-HTML document (eg Word, PowerPoint, PDF) is used to automatically suggest a title on the metadata screen for editing by author.
This is the DC.title in the metadata record. This title can be edited by author to include organisational name if necessary. The amended title will then become the <title> tag in the HTML document or the title in the properties of non-HTML documents.
Include any variant titles eg abbreviations, previous title, title identified in <title> tag of HTML document as second and subsequent Title iterations. |
