Service points at Sir Louis Matheson Library

Located at the library entrance to:

• ask questions and get help from library staff
• make enquiries about loans or Library membership
• enquire about, or hand in, lost property.

Self checking of loans is available. Return items through the book chutes located in the foyer & after hours outside the main entrance. Music and multimedia items must be returned to the Music and Multimedia desk.

Research and Learning

• finding and evaluating information
• citing and referencing
• essay and report writing
• problem solving and critical thinking
• staff available at scheduled times: Librarians 11am to 3pm, Learning Skills Advisors 12pm to 2pm

Music and Multimedia Collection

• information assistance with music and multimedia collection
• check out multimedia items you wish to borrow
• return multimedia items
• ask for assistance with microform readers or other multimedia equipment
• staff available Monday - Thursday 8.30am to 7pm, Friday 8.3am to 5.30pm

Asian Studies Research Collection

• ask for assistance with Asian language materials
• staff available Monday - Friday 9am-5pm

Rare Books Collection

• ask for assistance with the Rare Books Collection
• operates Monday - Friday 9am-5 pm
