About Maroondah Hospital Library

The library is independent of the Monash University Library. In addition to hospital staff, the library supports and resources the learning, teaching and research activities of staff and students based at the Maroondah Hospital.

Who may borrow from this library

• site based Monash University and Honorary staff
• site based Monash University MBBS students
• Monash University nursing students

Loans

• The library has its own collection and loans system. This means that the loan status (ie. availability) shown in the Monash University Library catalogue may not be accurate and the item may or may not be available on the shelves.
• Monash University Library materials at this site are not available for intercampus loan.

Guidelines for use

The library staff provide support to staff and student groups listed above. Library staff are able to provide limited assistance only to other Monash borrowers, such as CAVAL or Alumni borrowers.

Photocopying

• purchase a non-rechargeable photocopy card from the Loans desk
• 5c per copy

Staff and postgraduate students, including Honours students, can request items not available in their home library or online through the library's Document Delivery Service.
