About Bendigo Health Library

The library is a separate institution, independent of the Monash University Library. In addition to hospital staff, the library supports and resources the learning, teaching and research activities of Monash staff and students based at the Bendigo Regional Clinical School.

Who may borrow from this library

• site based Monash University and Honorary staff
• site based Monash University MBBS students
• site based students from Melbourne University and Latrobe University

Loans

• Eligible users require a current Monash University staff or student ID card. Ask at the desk to register before borrowing.
• The library has its own collection and loans system. This means that the loan status (ie. availability) shown in the Monash University Library catalogue may not be accurate and the item may or may not be available on the shelves.
• Monash University Library materials at this site are not available for intercampus loan.
• Site based Monash University MBBS students may request books and audiovisual material from branch libraries through the Monash University Library catalogue. Items are sent to the Bendigo Health library for collection.

Guidelines for use

• The library staff provide support to staff and student groups listed above
• After hours access is available until 11pm via swipe card. Please see Pauline Blake at reception for authorisation

Photocopying

• 10c per copy

Staff and postgraduate students, including Honours students, can request items not available in their home library or online through the library's Document Delivery Service.
