Food, drink, noise and mobile phones in the Law Library

Please be considerate of your fellow users and observe the following guidelines:

• Mobile phones should be set to vibrate or silent, and switched off in quiet study areas.
• Cold snack food is allowed throughout the library, except in reserve and special collections, near computers and in quiet study areas
• Covered drinks (with lids) are allowed throughout the library except in reserve and special collections and near computers
• A moderate level of noise is permitted on Level 1 of the library (except in the lead-up to exams) with all other levels being quiet study areas

Library users who do not comply with these guidelines may be asked to leave the library. In exceptional cases, a disciplinary hearing may follow.
