Collection strengths at the Law LibraryThe Law Library, one of eight branch libraries of the Monash University Library, supports and resources the learning, teaching and research activities of staff and students at the university's Law faculty. The Law Library has collections strengths in:
The library provides its specialist law collection in both print and electronic form, concentrating on resources covering Australia and other common law jurisdictions, as well as international law. Of particular note is the Pacific Law Collection, comprising primary and secondary legal materials covering Pacific Island states and territories. The Law Library also has a small popular crime fiction collection and a popular crime/law video and DVD collection. A wide range of books, videos and journals (both paper and electronic) is available. The electronic collection of the Monash University Library can be accessed via the resources page or by searching the catalogue.
