Laws made by Parliament (ie legislation) consist of:

• Acts (also known as statutes)
• Subordinate and delegated legislation (also known as regulations, rules, by-laws and orders)
• Bills (the form taken before an Act has been passed)

Victorian Legislation and Parliamentary Documents, from the Office of the Chief Parliamentary Counsel, provides online access to Victorian legislation.
Select 'Victorian Law Today' to access all consolidated Principal Victorian Acts and Statutory Rules as in force, at a given point in time.
Select 'Parliamentary Documents' to access Bills under consideration and House Documents of the Parliament of Victoria, including Explanatory Memoranda and 2nd Reading Speeches.
