Budget papers

Budget paper is a current series of Budget Papers - Northern Territory Northern Territory budget papers have been published since 1980. They originally comprised five papers: the Budget Speech, Statement of Revenue Sources, Appropriation Bill, Explanations to the Appropriation Bill, and Capital Works Program. Related papers such as Women in the Budget and Regional Highlights were published from 1993. In 2001 there were five budget papers and three related papers.

Prior to self-government in 1978, the Northern Territory's finances were under the Commonwealth budget. Budget papers in print form are only available for the year 1989
