Annual reports of Government departments and agencies

These often provide an excellent source of statistical information. If you know the government agency dealing with your area of interest, do a 'Basic search' in the Library catalogue using keywords derived from the department or agency name and the keyword 'report'.

In most cases this will limit the search to a few entries and it will be easy to select the annual report as opposed to other reports produced by the department. Add the term 'annual' if your result is too big.

If the annual report is not in the library catalogue it should be in the Parliamentary papers series and we can help you to locate it.
