An exhibition of material from the Monash University Library Rare Books Collection.

Over 100 curious and quirky portraits, including everything from a 17th century engraving of King Charles 1 to Michael Jackson’s now-infamous mugshot, will be on show in a special exhibition of material from the Monash University Library Rare Books Collection.

A hand-coloured 1654 engraving 'The poet's mistress' depicting a woman with suns for eyes, roses for cheeks, hearts hanging from her hair, a cherub on
her forehead and two world globes for breasts.
