Desert law / by Neil Hunt. (Sydney : William Brooks, 1933)

Neil Hunt wrote several romantic thrillers set in contemporary New South Wales. The plot of the first, Curong (1930) centres on the activities of a white slave gang in Sydney. Desert law is set partly in the country around the Darling River and partly in Hollywood. The striking dustwrapper features a young girl in black, with bright nails and lipstick, smoking a cigarette.
