Reuse favourite connection and filter files

Once you have added a filter or connection file to the Filters or Connections folders, add the file to your ‘favourites' list and it will then appear in the relevant submenu or dropdown list.

1. Open EndNote. On the standard toolbar, select Edit - Import Filters - Open Filter Manager… or Edit - Connection Files - Open Connection Manager...
2. Click Find, select by Name, and search for the relevant filter or connection file.
3. Check (tick) the required file and it will be added to your list of ‘favourites'. Close the Filter or Connection Manager.
4. To access the ‘favourites' lists for filters and connections respectively:
   • with a library open, select File - Import and the filter file will appear in the Import Option dropdown list
   • select Tools - Connect and the connection file will appear in the submenu
