Enable OpenURL in EndNote X2

1. Open EndNote. From the menu select Edit > Preferences
2. In the EndNote Preferences window
   • select URLs & Links
   • check (tick) Enable OpenURL
   • in the Open URL Path text box, type: http://sfxprod.aarlin.edu.au:9003/monash2/
   • in the Arguments box ensure the following is present: ?sid=ISI:WoS&aulast=AULAST&issn=ISSN&atitle=ATITLE&title=TITLE&volume=VOLUME&issue=ISSUE&date=DATE&spage=SPAGE&epage=EPAGE
   • click Apply and then OK
     

     

Access SFX menu in EndNote X2

1. Open EndNote, select a library (.enl), and highlight a reference
2. From the menu select References > URL > OpenURL link to open the SFX menu
   

   

3. Select the 'SFX Service' required for this record
