Connecting from EndNote to OVID

Direct Connection with OVID databases is generally not recommended. You will need to download relevant connection files customised for Monash users.

  2. Select the appropriate connection file from the list and select Choose. In ENX and earlier versions select Connect. The EndNote search page opens
  3. Perform the search. When a search is finished a Confirm Remote Search textbox opens with details of the results. Select OK.
  4. References are now displayed. Select required reference/s to transfer into an EndNote library
  5. Select the Copy # References To button. Select the desired library from the dropdown menu. The references are now transferred into the library
  6. Select X at the top right of the search screen and OK which discards the temporary references and closes the connection.
