MusicAustraliaConnect to MusicAustralia via Direct Connection About this resourceMusicAustralia aim is to develop a web-based music service that will provide integrated access to Australian music resources and information. It is being developed and delivered as a collaboration between the National Library of Australia, ScreenSound Australia, the national screen and sound archive, and other national cultural institutions and the wider Australian music community. Music in all its formats, across styles and genres and, both heritage and contemporary material, is included. Currently, it provides access to more than 170 items of digitised music material, including published music, manuscript scores, audio recordings, multimedia presentations and other music resources which are available online. The service also has features that allow users to view or listen to music items one at a time, to listen to several music items one after another, or to view and listen to music simultaneously. Future developments include scoping and developing a directory structure to include people, organisations and events linked to Australian music.
