This catalogue records an exhibition of illuminated manuscripts drawn from collections in Cambridge, Australia, and New Zealand and presented by the State Library of Victoria, Melbourne, from March-June 2008.  Twenty six scholars, including the Director of Collections, State Library of Victoria, Shane Carmody, and curator of the exhibition, Margaret Manion, and the editors of the book, have contributed introductory essays and entries on each of the ninety-one important items displayed.  The catalogue includes glossary, bibliography and index.
