The Character of Leadership reveals what leadership characteristics work in the Australian workplace. The genesis of the book is in a joint survey conducted by the Department of Management at Monash University and the Australian Institute of Management in which about 250 Australian managers and business leaders participated. The survey results distinguished the ﬁfteen key components of leadership and ranked them.
