About the author
Emeritus Professor David Roberts is a senior research associate with theCentre for Comparative Literature and Cultural Studies at Monash University. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of the Humanities. Emeritus Professor Roberts is co-editor of the journal Thesis Elevenand his many publications include Reconstructing Theory (1995) and TheEuropean Community in the 1990s: Economics, Politics, Defence (1992).
Peter Murphy is Associate Professor of Communications in the School of English, Communications and Performance Studies at Monash University.
