Book description
Some of the fine research articles which have been published in the Australasian Journal of Gifted Education in the past decade have been selected to be included in this book.  These articles reflect many of the key issues that educators of the gifted and talented have been debating as people's knowledge, teaching experiences and understandings have developed.
For analytical and organisational purposes, the articles in this book are grouped under the themes of: pedagogy and curriculum, policy and practice, social and emotional needs, school and family, neuropsychology and cognition, special populations.
In one respect, this volume seeks to stimulate further research in gifted education in Australia, and a willingness on the part of researchers to disseminate their findings through the Australasian Journal of Gifted Education in the decades to come.
