Book description
This book documents some of the knowledge about teaching in PEEL (Project for the Enhancement of Effective Learning) classrooms. The knowledge is documented in this book was not developed through the traditional PEEL approach of sharing in cross-faculty groups. Rather, it came about through a specifically organised project designed to 'tap into' the insights of PEEL teachers through what we came to call Unpicking PEEL days.

This book has two purposes. The first is to share with teachers some of the discussions and insights that occurred during these Unpicking PEEL days and the second is what we have to describe as invitations to action. These invitations to action are a result of the fact that many of the insights raised through the Unpicking PEEL days focucsed on difficultirs and dilemmas that needed further exploration and development. Through these inovations to action it is anticipatred that new approaches and understandings might be describes that shed light on some of these teaching and learning issues.
