Book description

As a young woman in Sri Lanka, the central character Manthri marvels at the promise of life and yearns for a future of fulfilled dreams.  However from the time of her loveless marriage she suffers a steady descent into disillusion and disenchantment.  This is increased by migration to Australia and her estrangement from her two Australianised children.
