Book description
Folie á deux is a dual biography of Patrick Dexter a Royal
Academy painter, and his wife Caroline Dexter an advocate for women’s rights
in England and Australia. It is
based on their personal letters dating from the late 1850’s and several years
of research in England and Australia by Patrick Morgan.
About the Author
Mr Patrick Morgan is from the School of Humanities and Social Sciences on Monash's Gippsland campus. Another of his books The settling of Gippsland : a regional history (1997) won the 1998 Victorian Community and Local History Award.
