About the Author

Marcia Neave is a Professor in the Faculty of Law at Monash University.  In 1999 Professor Neave received the Order of Australia for her service to the law.  Professor Neave is best known for her work in the area of social justice as it relates to issues affecting women.  She has participated in an inquiry into prostitution and worked on the NSW Law Reform Commission's reference on de facto relationships.  Professor Neave is been president of the Commonwealth Administrative Review Council.
