Learning skills drop-in sessions and classes at Peninsula Library

Drop-in sessions

Drop-in sessions, open to all students, commence in week 2 and run through to week 12, except during semester break. No bookings are required for drop-in sessions and they last for 10 to 15 minutes.

Drop-in sessions are held in the Peninsula Library, near stairwell, Level 1.

  • Mondays: 1.00 - 2.30pm
  • Tuesdays: 12.30 - 2.30pm
  • Wednesdays: 1.00 - 2.30pm
  • Thursdays: 12.30 - 2.30pm
  • Fridays: No session

Classes at Peninsula

Various learning skills workshops for undergraduate, postgraduate and higher degree research students will be available throughout the semester. Some examples of information covered during these classes include: managing your study, critical analysis of the literature, critical writing and academic argument, successfully integrating sources into your writing, citing and referencing, getting started on your thesis, writing a literature review.
