Drop-in sessions

Drop-in sessions, which are 10 - 15 minute consultations with a Learning skills adviser, are offered at each library at the times listed below. Sessions commence in week 2 and run through to week 12, except during semester breaks. No bookings are required. There is a waiting area located nearby and students will be seen on a first come, first served basis.

At a drop-in session, which are open to all students, you can discuss an aspect of your studies with an adviser. Learning skills advisers can help you with: academic reading/writing, citing and referencing; exam preparation, note-taking, argumentation skills; preparing for tutorials, and study skills.

Berwick Library

Caulfield Library

  • Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 12-2pm
  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 5-8pm

Clayton

  • Law Library
    Come to the Research and Learning desk in the Law Library at times to be confirmed.
  • Matheson Library
    • Librarian: 11am-3pm, Monday to Friday
    • Learning skills adviser: 12pm-2pm, Monday to Friday

Gippsland Library

  • Monday to Friday: 1pm to 2pm

Peninsula Library

Drop-in sessions are held in the Peninsula Library, near stairwell, Level 1.

  • Mondays: 1.00 - 2.30pm
  • Tuesdays: 12.30 - 2.30pm
  • Wednesdays: 1.00 - 2.30pm
  • Thursdays: 12.30 - 2.30pm
  • Fridays: No session

CL Butchers Pharmacy Library

  • Tuesday 12-2pm
